In addition to our grazing services, Rustic Ranch has the necessary equipment and resources to clear fire fuels that are left behind by livestock.  We offer mechanical brush removal as a post-grazing or standalone service.  Our fleet of equipment includes tracked masticators and remote-controlled slope mowers, which allow us to clear vegetation on the most challenging terrain.  We recommend that treatment areas are grazed first to remove flashy fire fuels, then mechanically treated, and then grazed again annually for maintenance.  In following this protocol, landowners will be more successful in keeping invasive vegetation at bay.  

In tandem with grazing and mechanical services, Rustic Ranch also offers reforestation services, through which we assist to create a longer-term fuel mitigation program by replanting native oak trees in fire-affected or fire-threatened communities.  This intentional restocking of oak trees will eventually create a shade canopy and prohibitive environment for invasive brush, as well as maintain the integrity of soils and ensure continued biodiversity of species.
